Larry,
I would personally contact Yum! Brands, Inc. They are the owners of KFC, Pizza Hut, Wingstreet, Taco Bell, A&W All American Food and Long John Silver's. They may be able to provide food and maybe some funding.

It is run by CEO, David C. Novak. He is a director of JPMorgan & Chase Co., the Yum! Brands Foundation, The Friends of the World Food Program, and The Business Council. Novak also devotes considerable personal support to the United Nations World Food Programme and Dare to Care Food Bank hunger-relief. He is also the recipient of the national 2008 Woodrow Wilson Award for Corporate Citizenship.

For Media Inquiries, please call 502-874-7400

If I am correct they are based out of Louisville, Kentucky.

Ask where you can pitch them on advertising for them, in lieu of donations.

Best of luck,
Peter John

David, that's exactly the kind of stuff we're hoping will help. It would be really nice to see one big sponsor come in and cover things, but in reality, we know that it's easier in this economy for a number of people to give smaller contributions. We have sponsor packets available for anyone that would like details and we'll work with everyone to make sure they get recognition for what they provide. Thanks.

Larry, I am so sorry to hear about this.
While I can't donate anything right now (I wish I could) I do have a suggestion, (not sure how helpful it'll be).
Have you thought about contacting a caterer and asking if they would be interested in sponsoring your event by providing the meals for the volunteers?
The same could probably be done concerning the printing and T-Shirts-perhaps you could put their information on the website, or in the brochures to 'pay them back'?
Hope this helps, and that everything works out.
