Holiday Photos and an update on Bubble Murals

With the end of the year approaching, we thought it would be fun to share a few images for inspiration as you plan your holiday parties. We had fun looking through images of installations from years past. Picking our favorite photos from a pile of cornucopias. gingerbread houses, Christmas trees, menorahs and more was a bit of a challenge. Let us know what you think of these, or challenge us to create something new for your event.

Bubble Murals Up Close

Bubble Murals have been a huge hit over the last year. Video producer and maker Tyler Winegarner followed us through the creation of a Bubble Mural at the grand opening of the Schottland Family YMCA. He did a fantastic job of showing what they’re all about in one short video.

The popularity of Bubble Murals has encouraged us to find new ways of adapting them for new environments and uses. The original purpose of the Bubble Mural was to create a project that would allow individuals to contribute to something large by just taking a few minutes of their time, and making only small units. We just worked with the Rochester AmeriCorps on a team building exercise where each participant took things further than just a simple unit. Rather than focusing on the individual pieces, they developed their own method of completing the whole project. Many small pieces can make a brighter whole.
