Cheetogami

So apparently Frito-Lay, makers of Cheetos cheese-flavored snacks, have finally named the distinctive cheese dust that delightfully decorates your fingers. It’s called "cheetle!" We assume, of course, it is in honor of Airigami Artistic Director, Kelly Cheatle, who also delightfully decorates all sorts of things. (Don’t worry about the spelling folks, we understand marketing.) So in honor of this honor, we’ve hand crafted this air-puffed balloon dog entirely out of Cheetos! And if anyone from Frito-Lay is listening, yes, Ms. Cheatle is willing to discuss an endorsement deal.

This isn't the first time we took a break from balloons to create art with popular snack products. Back in 2013, after completing our second children's book, And He Puffed, we decided to celebrate with some milk and cookies, resulting in this first Oreogami video.

The makers of Oreo cookies took an interest after that video made it's way around the world. Just a few days and tens of thousands of views later, we were asked to create a series of short videos called The Cookie Chronicles. Just imagine what we could do with puffed cheese.
