Mission to Mars

We had an opportunity this month to work with the YMCA of Greater Rochester on their first annual Thingamajig event. Kids from various Y summer programs had fun creating during this STEAM-oriented event. We were one of the five stations where the kids used their imaginations to construct what they thought they'd need if they were Mars explorers. Groups made space suits, rovers, furniture, and when they worked with us, buildings based on geodesic domes.
