Bouguereau's "Young Priestess"

Kelly and I spent last Sunday at the Memorial Art Gallery creating our interpretation of William-Adolphe Bouguereau's Young Priestess, for a family day celebration in honor of the gallery's 100th anniversary.  The piece was created entirely during the five hour event, as visitors watched. We've gotten used to recreating Masterworks in a studio setting. Working outdoors in a tent, with only a few hours to complete the sculpture made for quite a challenge.
