Festival of Ideas

The Brighton Central School District, where our kids go to school, just had their annual Festival of Ideas. This is day full of classes for elementary and middle school kids that steps outside of the usual curriculum. I've been teaching an intro balloon class for years during Festival. This year, Kelly and I each went in different directions for the day. Kelly taught a class in felting. I had kids designing and building their own Rube Goldberg machines.
